Plans and the account label
What a vendor plan changes on AEC Integrations, how it is billed and renewed, and the things no plan can ever buy.
Last updated 24 September 2026
A plan is what lets your company edit its own listings and confirm its integrations. It also puts the "Active on AECi" label on your vendor page. It never changes where anything ranks.
What a plan changes
A vendor plan affects five things, and this is the complete list:
- what your company may edit about itself and its products: the profile, product details, categories, trades, audiences, phases and "How teams use it",
- whether your company can confirm or deny data flows on its integrations (Attesting an integration),
- whether your company can claim, edit, retire and restore an integration it owns that is delivered through a connector, and decide contests on one (Owning an integration),
- whether the "Active on AECi" label appears on your vendor page and in your portal,
- how far back the version history on an integration page goes. Readers always see the current state in full. The comparison with older versions opens when either vendor at the ends of that integration holds a plan.
Some things need only a seat, not a plan: managing seats, owning your integrations, adding your own links, and contesting a detail. The exception is an integration delivered through a connector: claiming, editing, retiring or restoring one, and deciding contests on one, need a plan. See Your seat.
What a plan never changes
No plan, at any price, changes:
- your position in search or in any listing,
- whether a review is published or removed,
- whether a listing exists,
- what readers see about an integration's current state, including whether the two vendors agree.
There is no sponsored placement and no promoted tier. We check this with an automated test: the list of things a plan can unlock is compared with the list of signals that order search results, and the build fails if anything appears in both.
The "Active on AECi" label
While your plan is active, your vendor page carries the label "Active on AECi", next to a "What this means" link that points back to this article. Your portal's plan panel shows the same label. Both say the same thing: your company has active access to manage its profile on AEC Integrations.
The label is not a separate purchase. It comes with the plan and goes when the plan ends. It does not say anything about the quality of your products or the accuracy of your integrations, and it does not affect ranking or placement.
Starting, paying and renewing
An approved claim starts your company's plan. See Claiming your vendor listing.
We bill by invoice or purchase order. There is no card payment and no online checkout. To arrange access, renew, or change anything about billing, use Renew access or Ask about vendor access in the portal, which take you to our contact page.
The portal shows your plan's status, and the end date where there is one. Before the end date, everyone with a seat and AEC Integrations get an email. Nothing changes before that date, and a plan does not lapse on its own: its status changes only when we act on it.
When a plan ends
- Your seats and sign-in stay, and so does the portal, read-only for anything a plan covers.
- Your listings stay published.
- The "Active on AECi" label comes off.
- You can no longer edit your profile or products, or confirm, deny or clear a data flow.
- You can no longer claim, edit, retire or restore an integration delivered through a connector. One you already claimed stays claimed, and one you retired stays retired. Open contests on it move to AEC Integrations.
- Owning your integrations, your own links and contests keep working, because they need only a seat.
