The four labels on each type of data on an integration page, what each one tells you, and how to act on it.
Last updated 9 October 2026
On an integration page, each type of data carries a label. The label says which of the two companies at the ends of the integration has confirmed it. You see the labels in the Detailed view, which is the default. Reading an integration page shows where they sit.
There are four labels. Here is what each one tells you, and what to do with it.
Listed by AEC Integrations
We recorded this from public sources. Neither company has confirmed it yet.
Most types of data start here, and most of the directory still reads this way. A row also reads this way when a company has said it is not accurate and nobody has confirmed it. It is not a warning. Treat it as a well-sourced lead. If it matters to your decision, check it against the vendor's own documentation, or ask the vendor.
Confirmed by (a company)
One of the two companies has confirmed it. The other has not answered yet. The label names the company that confirmed. If we cannot name it, the label reads "Confirmed by one company".
The confirming company stands behind it. The other company has said nothing either way. If you rely on both ends, ask the other company too.
Confirmed by both companies
Two different companies have each confirmed it. This is the strongest label we show.
A company that makes both products still counts once. Its integration between its own products can read "Confirmed by" that company, never "Confirmed by both companies".
Companies disagree
At least one company has confirmed it and another has said it is not accurate. We show both answers and do not take sides. It reports a disagreement between the companies, not a fault in either product.
Ask both vendors before you rely on it. The Sources button on the row shows who said what.
Reading the Sources
Each row has an i button that opens Sources. It lists everyone who has answered:
- "Listed by AEC Integrations", for our own record,
- "(Company) confirms this",
- "(Company) says this is not accurate".
A closing line says what is missing, such as a company that has not answered yet. A company can give a reason when it says no. Reasons are never shown on the public page.
What the labels are not
- Not a test by us. "Confirmed" is a statement by the companies. We do not test it.
- Not a vote by us. Our own record never counts as a confirmation. We cannot make a row read "Companies disagree" on our own.
- Not set by a plan. A label is worked out only from the two companies' answers, and both companies' answers count the same. Only a company on the Managed plan can confirm or dispute a row, so a row can read "Listed by AEC Integrations" simply because neither company is on Managed. How ranking works covers what a plan does and does not change.
- Not in search. The labels appear on integration pages only.
