Vendor guide

For vendors: claiming your listing, then the portal, data flows, the integrations you own, plans and your change history.

This guide is for vendors: claiming your listing, then working in the vendor portal. If your company has not claimed its listing yet, start with For vendors and Claiming your vendor listing. If you read the directory or write reviews, the General guide is for you.

  1. For vendors

What claiming your listing means, what the Free and Managed plans include, and where this guide goes next.

  2. Claiming your vendor listing

How to ask for a seat on your company's vendor account, what we check before we grant one, and what happens next.

  3. Your seat

Signing in to the vendor portal, inviting and removing colleagues, and what a seat lets you do on the Free and Managed plans.

  4. Attesting an integration

How to say whether the data flows recorded under an integration are right, what readers see as a result, and what happens when the two companies disagree.

  5. Owning an integration

How the company that offers an integration claims it, edits it, adds its links, retires it, and adds new ones.

  6. Contests and protests

How to ask for a change to a detail on an integration your company does not own, what to do when one of yours is asked about, and how to ask AEC Integrations to review an owner's decision.

  7. Replying to reviews

How your company posts a public reply to a review of one of its products, how we check it, and how to edit or withdraw it.

  8. Plans

What the Free and Managed plans let your company do on AEC Integrations, how the checklists and "Looks right" work, and what happens when a plan ends.

  9. Your change history

Where to see every change to your company, products, integrations and seats, who made it, and why AEC Integrations changed something.

  10. For connector vendors

The seat a company that makes connector products can have, how its Catalogue tab works, and how integrations delivered through a connector are owned.

Current limits

Some things the vendor portal does not do yet:

  • Removing a data flow you added. A corrected row you added stays on record after you cancel the change or pick another direction. It shows again as a row with no answer from you. See Attesting an integration.
  • Conversations on a contest. Each side sees the other's reason, note and reply, but there is no back-and-forth. See Contests and protests.
  • Adding a catalog match. On a connector product's Catalogue tab, you cannot add a match to a listing that has none. We add those. See For connector vendors.
