Tableau Azure SQL Database connector

Tableau ships a dedicated Azure SQL Database connector in Tableau Cloud, Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep, separate from its Microsoft SQL Server connector. It connects to the server's database.windows.net address and signs in with a username and password, an Active Directory password, Azure Active Directory OAuth or a service principal. Tableau reads from the database into a workbook or flow; nothing is written back.
