Tableau Microsoft SQL Server connector

Tableau ships a Microsoft SQL Server connector, documented on its own page in Tableau Desktop's data-source reference. Tableau's page also routes SQL Server Parallel Data Warehouse, Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure SQL Database through it, though Tableau now ships a separate Azure SQL Database connector as well. Tableau reads from the database into a workbook; nothing is written back.
